2912277 - "version delete failed" error in SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning (SAC) when trying to delete a private version associated with an input task

• Create a private version and an input task based on it.
• Assign the input task to an end-user
• Cancel the input task.
• Try to delete the private version, the error message "version delete failed" occurs

• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2019.21.8

Error occurs because even though the input task has been cancelled, it has already been assigned to an end-user

The end-user must submit the task even though it has been cancelled

Once this is done the administrator can delete the private version
