2912544 - Error when Creating Mashup

While creating or editing a mashup, the system will prompt an unhandled exception in the screen.

• SAP Cloud for Customer
• SAP Cloud Applications Studio

1. Navigate to the Administrator work center.
2. Open the Mashup Authoring view.
3. Create a new Mashup or Edit an existing one.
4. A system exception will come up.

This error happens due to an incorrect user access rights assignment in a tenant which has the role type as partner development.

You will not be able to create or edit mashups in the UI, only from the Cloud Applications Studio (SDK).

You can only create mashups from the Studio in a partner development tenant. You also need to ensure that your user does not have the Administrator work center assigned.
