2912799 - Error Message: Maintain Conversions Between UoMs XXX and YYY

You are unable to make a change to a particular material. An error occurs. Error: Maintain conversions between UoMs XXX and YYY (while XXX and YYY are different quantity units).

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Product Portfolio work center
2. Click on By Materials view
3. Search for the relevant material
4. Click on Edit
5. Make any change to the material
6. Click on Save

A possible cause could be that the quantity type was added to the material. It can be also added via a partner add-on or a web service. It can be seen in the tab Changes. The system expects a conversion of all other units available on this product master data to this UoM, because it has been added to the quantity unit association.

You need to check how this UoM was added to the quantity unit of the material and then remove it via the same method.
