Symptom

  • When dropping a connection, SAP IQ could crash with

E. 03/18 17:00:02. *** ERROR *** Assertion failed: 104904 (16.0.0.2910)
latch count not 0 at end of request (conn_id=38712,latchcount=0x0002)

  • This error is printed in srvlog (and zrlog if it is enabled)
  • No error in IQMSG
  • No stack trace is generated
