Resolution

As part of the B2005 Release, customers can now configure business rules (onSave) to execute when you drag and drop a candidate from one status to another in the Candidate Workbench.

STEP 1: Create a Rule : Admin Center > Configure Business Rules > Recruiting > Job Application: Basic Business Rule Scenario

** Sample Rule: If the candidate was moved to "Phone Screen1234" Status via Drag and Drop Method, field "Preferred Name" will be updated/populate with Text Value: "This is moved by a Rule"

STEP 2: Link the created Rule to a Template: Admin Center > Manage Rules in Recruiting > Job Application > Template-Level Rules> Associate the rule definition to "Save Rules"

STEP 3: Go to a Job Requisition > Candidate Workbench > Select Candidate > Move the Candidate by Drop and Drag Method to the Configured Status.

Result: Candidate will be moved to the desired Status and the business rule will be triggered with Job Application Rule as a Source (in Application History)

Note: Please note that raise message is not supported for Drag and Drop as Drag and Drop is considered as a save and onSave does not support raise message
