b2005 Enhancement to Manage Pending Hires
In the 2005 release, the Enhanced Manage Pending Hires feature will be universal. The following changes have been made with this enhancement:
- The classic Manage Pending Hires UI has been improved to the Enhanced Manage Pending Hires UI. This new UI will still the same features, such as sorting and filtering of data
- 'Enhanced Manage Pending Hires' tool has been renamed to 'Manage Pending Hires'
- Removal of switch in Manage Employee Central Settings to enable 'Enhanced Manage Pending Hires' (no longer needed as it is now universal)
- Column Names are pulled from the Succession Data Model (or BCUI), rather than hardcoded values which were used in the previous Manage Pending Hires UI
Note: There have been no changes to permissions for Manage Pending Hires, the user will still require access to the following setting in RBP:
Customers can also configure columns for the Manage Pending Hires UI (as available in the 1905 release for Enhanced Manage Pending Hires), this will require the following permission:
Configuration of Columns and Troubleshooting
- Once permission is added, search for 'Configure Columns for the Manage Pending Hires'.
- This tool will allow you to adjust the layout and which fields are displayed within the UI for each area of Manage Pending Hires:
Note: In the legacy Manage Pending Hires page, the columns configured where shown by default, regardless of whether the corresponding field were configured in RCM or ONB. In this case the columns such as Job Code, would show but no data would be seen in the column.
- With the universal move to Enhanced Manage Pending Hires, if the corresponding field is not configured in the RCM or ONB, the column will not be added.
- This may lead to there being less columns in the Enhanced Manage Pending Hires tool compared to the Legacy version of the tool.
- If you wish to add or change columns, you can do so via the 'Configure Columns for the Manage Pending Hires' tool.
