2913365 - Do job postings automatically get unposted when a job requisition is closed? - Recruiting Management

You close a job requisition which was posted internally and/or externally and would like to know if this automatically stops the job posting.  

You want to know what happens to the job postings once a job requisition is closed.

When a Job Requisition status changes to closed, the Job Posting tab disappears and the status of the posting changes to deleted. Job postings automatically get unposted when the status of a job req changes to closed. 

You can also verify this by running an AdHoc report to check status of the job req and of posting:

1. Go to Reporting
2. Create a new report
3. Columns: from the Job Requisition table select Job Req ID, Requisition Status and Closed Date; from the Posting table select Posting Status, Posting Start Date and Posting End Date
4. Filter by Job Req ID
5. Report shows Job Requisition Status as closed and Posting Status as deleted
