Is it possible to change Country/Region names of the standard Country/Region picklist?

• After 1H2026, Administrators can now customize country labels in the standard country picklist to meet your organization's compliance and legal requirements.
  • Before, customers were restricted to use defined list of labels. The Enable country label customization switch lets customers change country labels in the picklist. The system checks the external_code against the three-letter country code to ensure correct display. Updates are applied in real time across all candidate forms and pages.
• Except for the en_US labels, labels of the other locales do not have this requirement. Hence, it is possible to maintain different translations for the other locales.
• Configuration requirement:
  • Admin Center > Manage Recruiting Settings > Enable 
    country label customization
     
  • Each country label in the standard country 
    picklist must have a valid ISO 3-letter country
    code as its external code.
