2913887 - MDF b2005: Workflow Approval Alerts for MDF Objects.

• MDF Alerts are not triggering when the workflow is initiated.

Alerts are now triggered for MDF objects with workflows only after the workflows are approved.

Previously, alerts were triggered when the workflow was initiated and again when it was approved. However, it’s expected that alerts are triggered only after the workflow approval.

Old Behavior:
If the object has workflow and MDF Alert rule with trigger mdf alert event function. The Trigger MDF Alert Event is used to get triggered whenever user saves the record in manage data though the workflow was not approved.

New Behavior:
If the object has workflow and MDF Alert purpose rule with trigger mdf alert event function. The Trigger MDF Alert Event is will not get triggered whenever user saves the record in manage data. it will get triggered only if the workflow is approved or if object does not have any workflow attached.
