2914132 - Error: "Access to XMLHttpRequest"..." Has Been Blocked by CORS Policy"

You are trying to access the endpoint from an integration or your Fiori/UI5 app using an OData Model, while your app is running on a localhost. An error similar to the following one occurs:

"Access to XMLHttpRequest at ‘ABC’ from origin ‘XYZ’ has been blocked by CORS policy" (where ABC represents the Odata URL being accessed, and XYZ represents the access point of the Odata URL)
