2914526 - Enhanced Contribution Margin Scheme Material Cost Appears Only For One Accounting Period

• You are running the Enhanced Contribution Margin Scheme report for a product, selecting more than one Accounting Period.
• The report displays cost related data, such as Material Cost or Service Cost for only one Accounting Period but not for all selected periods.

SAP Business ByDesign

1.  In the Cost and Revenue work center go to the Reports view.
2. Find and open the Enhanced Contribution Margin Scheme report.
3. In the Accounting Period/Year field select more than one Accounting Period, for example 001.YYYY, 002.YYYY, 003.YYYY (YYYY represents the Fiscal Year). 
4. In the Product field,enter a product of your choice.

The report displays Sales related data, such as Sales volume, Gross Sales Value for all Accounting Periods.

However, all cost related data only appears for one Accounting Period.

The cost related key figures, such as Material Cost/Service Cost are provided from an Inventory data source called Valid Material Cost Components. This data source/report displays data for only one specific key date.

Therefore, when viewing the Enhanced Contribution Margin Scheme report for several Accounting Periods, you can see data for one Accounting Period only.

To synchronize the Sales and Inventory Data we are working on restricting the Accounting Period/Year selection field to one value only.

Until then, only select one Accounting Period at a time to view reliable data.
