  • ASE unable to connect to ECDA 
  • Also cannot connect from ISQL 
  • The connection to the ECDA Server hung

Environment

  • ECDA 15.7 for ODBC
  • Adaptive Server Enterprise/16.0 SP02 PL08/EBF 28488 SMP/P/x86_64/Enterprise Linux
  • Linux VM
  • ASE on Linux Box, ECDA on a Different Linux VM.
  • TCP dump shows the client sends the login request but the server does not respond.

     TDS 687 TDS4/5 login (Not last buffer),TDS4/5 login
     TCP 68 5011 → 51118 [ACK] Seq=1 Ack=620 Win=30208 Len=0 TSval=1825833207 TSecr=3736966179
