2915544 - Cannot Create Manual Purchase Request for Service item or Non-Stock Product

You are unable to create manual purchase request for a service item or non-stock product.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Purchase Requests and Orders work center 
2. Go to the Purchase Request view
3. Select New Purchase Request or go to Common Tasks and create Manual Purchase Request
4. By default, system proposes the process type as To-Stock and Material as Item type

In the current release the process type allowed is To-Stock and Item-Type allowed is material.

For non stock materials or service, you cannot create manual purchase request however you can create it from the shopping cart document.
