Environment
- SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise)
- BOE Live Data Connect (LUC)
- SAP Business Intelligence Platform
Reproducing the Issue
- Configure BOE Live Data Connect using Enterprise Authentication.
- Live Data Connection to Universe is successfully established in SAC.
- Change the boe.properites file to use SAP Enterprise Authentication.
- Live Data Connection to Universe fails in SAC.
Cause
- SAP Authentication is not supported using BOE Live Data Connect.
Resolution
- The supported methods are SAML authentication, and Enterprise (User/password) authentication.
