2916215 - Complete Employee Name Does not Appear in the Employees View

When accessing the employees list from the Administrator work center, only the first and last name of the employee are displayed. If the employee has other additional names, they are not shown in the employee screen.

The same behavior does not happen when opening the employee from the People work center.

•  SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Administrator work center.
2. Enter the Employees view.
3. Open an employee that has additional names.
4. Only the first and last name are displayed.

This happens due to the way that the employee names are persisted in the database.

For example, an employee with the following names:

First Name = X

Last Name = Y

AdditionalFamilyName = Z

BirthName = W

The Deviating Full Name in the database will be stored as "Y Z X W", and this is the name that will appear in the People work center.

However in the employee screen of the Administrator work center, only first and last name fields are displayed.

 

The system works as expected.
