2916361 - Setting Authorization for a Product to be Seen Only for its Territory (Teams)

You want to know how can you set an Authorization for a particular Product to be seen only for their territory (teams)?

For example, when a user creates a Sales Quotes/Sales Order, the users in that team can only see that Product. What Access Context and Restriction Rule can you select for the Business role?

As Product Master data does not contain a territory assignment, you will not be able to restrict the product access via territory.

What you can check is, to use Product Lists (used for product proposals). Here you can define Product Lists, valid only for certain Territories.

You could also define a Product List that only allows to add Products from the proposed Products using Product List type "Product Restriction".

This might help you to restrict the Product entry based on Territory.

Note, that the amount of Products listed in the Product List should still serve your user's usability. If the List has a high amount of Products, the selection can become difficult. Also note, if such a Product List exists, only those Products listed in the Product List can be added to the Sales Quote or Sales Order.
