2917650 - LMS: Webex Global dial in numbers

Symptom

We have introduced new flag ‘CALLINGLOBAL’ for telephony option. We have to use either one of the option's from - NONE, CALLIN, CALLINGLOBAL and CALLBACK. You cannot use CALLIN and CALLBACK at the same time as these two are not supported at the same time.

Example to add to the configuration file to enable Global dial in numbers.

<telephony_option>CALLINGLOBAL</telephony_option>

Resolution

To enable the Global Dial in Numbers option for Webex in LMS:

  1. Navigate to LMS Admin.
  2. System Administration.
  3. Configuration.
  4. VLS Configuration.
  5. Find your Webex configuration.
  6. Add in the line - "<telephony_option>CALLINGLOBAL</telephony_option>".
  7. Save

We recommend testing in your test system to ensure everything is set up correctly.
