Symptom

  • You want to restrict the size of a document that can be uploaded to SAP Content Server 6.50

  • Error happens while uploading a file less than 2GB(Linux/Unix environment):

      error_log.txt of SAP Content Server 6.50:

         AH01588: Requested content-length of XXXX is larger than the configured limit of XXXX

       error in SLG1:

         413 Request Entity Too Large

    Please note the current SAP Content Server release is 7.53 and this version should be used for new installations and upgrades, more details in note 719971 - SAP Content Server release strategy and note 2786364 - SAP Content Server and Cache Server 7.5 (and higher)
