2918019 - Not all IOS3 countries are included in supported location list when using Geo map in SAP Analytics Cloud

• Not all IOS3 countries are included in supported location list when using Geo map in SAP Analytics Cloud
• IOS3 country "Cocos (Keeling) Islands" with valid country code "CCK" could not be found in supported country list

 SAP Analytics Cloud 2020.2.19

1.  Create a new model with data file which contains country, country code,  region and subregion information list.
2.  Enrich Geo by area.
3.  Try to select country from list.
   >> No entry for IOS3 country "Cocos (Keeling) Islands" .
4. Click Download Locations link to check the supported country list.
   >>No entry for IOS3 country "Cocos (Keeling) Islands" .

Only country /region in suported list are be filled with correct shape. The list is provided with third party.
It does not contain every country/region at current stage.

In case of using a live HANA or BW datasource, there's an option to upload your own custom region shapes and create your own choropleth hierarchies - you can find more details here: https://help.sap.com/doc/ae871ef7a4cc469494ef6ef09d4d9df1/release/en-US/HANA%20Live%20Custom%20Regions.pdf

However, this is not currently possible for acquired data.
