2918273 - "Cannot connect to SAP Applications datastore <RFC_INVALID_PARAMETER- Parameter ASHOST, GWHOST or MSHOST is missing.>" error occurs loading to BW using process chain - SAP Data Services

• The following error message is displayed in the Data Services error job log executing batch job triggered from process chain in BW:
  
  Cannot connect to SAP Applications datastore <RFC_INVALID_PARAMETER- Parameter ASHOST, GWHOST or MSHOST is missing.> using host <X2>, client <X3>, user <Y.4>, and system number <M>. Please make sure the SAP server is running and the login information is correct.
  
  Unable to set job status due to connection failure while attempting to connect to BW system with connection parameters: <host=<application server>; client=<client number>; sysnr=<system number>; rfcini_destination=<*>>
  
  
• The job may be reported as successful despite this error.
• The RFC destination and RFC servers are configured to use SNC.
• The job completes successfully in Data Services Designer.
