2918960 - Sales doc. number missing from Inbound Delivery

An Inbound Delivery is being created in App "Create Inbound Deliveries - Deliveries". The Purchase Order and the delivery is related to Special Stock. The  Sales Order number and item is missing from the Inbound Delivery and gets blocked with error: "Enter sales order number and sales order item for category SOS" (Message no. /SCWM/MD042).

When you create the Inbound Delivery in app VL31N (Create Inbound Delivery) against the same Purchase Order, the Sales Order number is present in the EWM Inbound Delivery.
