2919044 - Error While Maintaining Employee Times in Time Administration

You are maintaining the Employee Times in Time Administration work center. But unable to save the times for Service Confirmation due to the error:

Specified activity not permitted for working time confirmations
Service confirmation quantity for Sales Order xxxxx missing

(where xxxxx represents the Sales Order ID)

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Time Administration work center
2. Go to Employees view
3. Find the employee ID: XYZ (where XYZ represents the Employee ID)
4. Select Edit
5. Go to the tab Employee Times
6. In the List tab, select Date From/To : DD1.MM1.YYYY1 / Unlimited
7. Select Add Row
8. Input the below:
9. Start Date: DD2.MM2.YYYY2
10. End Date: DD3.MM3.YYYY3
11. Time Type: PQR (where PQR represents the Time Type for which you want to record the Times)
12. In the Details Section, in the Labor Information tab, maintain Confirmation Type : Sales Order Confirmation
13. In the Sales Order field, select the Sales Order ID from the value help
14. System throws the mentioned error

There is an inconsistency with Time Recording and therefore, the system throws the error. That is, the Service Product on Sales Order contains a Unit of Measure of other than Time units, example: each, box, etc.

For time recordings, the system expects the unit in Time or Duration. Use a Service Product that contains a Time unit of measure or change the existing Service Product to have a Time unit of measure if applicable.
