This is a guide on how we configure the generic object for Position in Job Requisition and Offer templates using Manage Templates.

Here are the steps in adding the field in Job Requisition:

1. Go to Manage Templates > Job Requisition. Open the target template. Open x Fields define. Click to Modify.
2. Add Standard field and configure the field as follows:
   
   • Field ID=std_position_obj
   • Field type=object
   • Object Type=Position
   • 
   • Click Done button
3. Open x Field Permissions defined. Click to modify then add permission type (read/write) to role name (e.g. Recruiter) in reference ID "std_position_obj"
   
   • 
   • Click Done button
4. Click Save as Draft then Publish

To add the field in Offer Templates, here are the steps:

1. Go to Manage Templates > Offer Details. Open the target template. Open x Fields define. Click to Modify.
2. Add Job Requisition Standard Field and configure the field as follows:
   
   • Field ID=std_position_obj
   • Field type=object
   • Object Type=Position
   • 
   • Click Done button
3. Click Save as Draft then Publish.
