This is a guide on how we configure the generic object for Position in Job Requisition and Offer templates using Manage Templates.

Here are the steps in adding the field in Job Requisition:

1. Go to Manage Templates > Job Requisition.
2. Open the target template.
3. Click on "x Fields defined. Click to Modify."
4. Add Standard field and configure the field as follows:
   
   • Field ID=std_position_obj
   • Field type=object
   • Object Type=Position
     
    
5. Click Done button
6. Click on "x Field Permissions defined. Click to modify."
7. Add permission type (read/write) to role name (e.g. Recruiter) in reference ID "std_position_obj"
   

   

    
8. Click Done button
9. Click Save as Draft then Publish

To add the field in Offer Templates, here are the steps:

1. Go to Manage Templates > Offer Details.
2. Open the target template.
3. Click on "x Fields define. Click to Modify."
4. Add Job Requisition Standard Field and configure the field as follows:
   
   • Field ID=std_position_obj
   • Field type=object
   • Object Type=Position
     
     
5. Click Done button
6. Click Save as Draft then Publish.
