2919139 - No Postings in the Actual Cost Release Run

You have executed Actual Cost Release Run, but there is no postings in the run and you get below infomation and warning:

'Information: Multilevel processing including subordinate cost estimates was active'

'Warning: No cost estimates selected'

SAP Business Bydesign

1. Go to Inventory Valuation Work Center.
2. Go to Actual Cost Release View.
3. Find and Open Run XXX. ('XXX' refers to Actual Cost Release Run)
4. Under message tab.

You will see 'Information: Multilevel processing including subordinate cost estimates was active' and 'Warning: No cost estimates selected', and there is no Postings in the Run.

If you see the Actual Cost Release Run XXX, click on edit, there is no from period/year given, it shows 00/00 and hence this run did not select anything to process.

1. Check the latest period of the material in the Actual Cost Release Run XXX which has executed the Actual Cost Rollup and Actual Cost Allcocation.
2. You can give period EEE/BBBB in the Release run then it will process and create actual cost valuation data with the cost which was calculated in period EEE/BBBB ('EEE/BBBB' represents the period of the release run).

For instance, the Actual Cost Rollup and Actual Cost Allocation for the material have been executed for period YYY/ZZZZ, then in the Actual Cost Release Run, you should enter the same period YYY/ZZZZ as well.
