2919322 - How to change the status of Planning run from Obsolete to Active

When you choose the option Set to Active for a planning run that is Obsolete you see that the status changes to In Revision and not to Active.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Supply Planning work center. 
2. Navigate to the Automated Actions view and choose the subview Planning Runs.
3. Select the relevant Planning Run with the status Obsolete. 
4. Choose the Actions button and select the option Set to Active.

You see that the status changes to In Revision, while you were expecting the status to change to Active.

The Status always changes from Obsolete to In Revision for the business user to review the settings maintained for the run. Once the business user is satisfied with the settings (s)he has to change the status to Set to Active again.

1. Go to Supply Planning work center. 
2. Navigate to the Automated Actions view and choose the subview Planning Runs.
3. Select the relevant Planning Run with the status Obsolete. 
4. Choose the Actions button and select the option Set to Active.
5. You see that the status changed to In Revision. 
6. Review the run from your end, choose the Actions button and select the option Set to Active again. 

You see that the status of the run has changed to Active. You can continue to schedule your planning run without any errors.
