2920166 - IT0008 record is not removed from ERP during replication

• When removing an event/Job Change in SuccessFactors, the IT0001 record is removed from the backend system (ERP) but the corresponding IT0008 record is not removed.
• How is Compensation Information (IT0008) handled when a record is removed from SuccessFactors (MyHR).

The merge logic for IT0008 in the non-BIB replication is in Note 2050117 - Changes to Compensation Information can lead to unintended time splits in IT0008 (Basic Pay).

The Note states:

The program logic is changed in a way that IT0008 records are merged, if their corresponding fields in Employee Central have the same content (effective dates excluded) and if the timesplit has not been stored before in infotype 0008 in SAP ERP.

Based on this logic, the merge is only applied for time slices that did not exist before in order to avoid retro-calculation issues.
