Is it possible to use Business Rules in JPB Objects? Is there any impact in doing so?
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Job Profile Builder
Resolution
Currently, Business Rules are not supported in Job Profile Builder Objects, such as Family, Role, Competency, Job Profile, Behaviors, and so on.
Employee Central alerts business rule configuration is not supported for all MDF objects. And for JPB, only workflows feature is supported, but not alerts and notifications feature, as JPB does not support edit actions - edit, edit with route change, edit without route change - capabilities within JPB workflow.
You are able to include rule via Object Definitions, but this action can cause data issues when creating or editing JPB objects, using import method or through the UI, depending on how the rules are set up.
