2921257 - Cannot Complete Inspection; Referenced Documents Are Not in Finished State

An error 'Cannot complete inspection; referenced documents are not in finished state' occurs while selecting value for Quality Decision in Inspection Document.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Quality Control Work Center.
2. Navigate to Monitoring- Inspections View.
3. Search for the inspection document.
4. Choose Edit button.
5. Navigate to Decision Tab.
6. Select any vaule for Quality Decision, then the mentioned error would occur.

The expected error occurs as the relevant warehouse process is not finished. Open Reference Document in the General Tab in the inspection document, it's notice that the status is not Finished.

Once the warehouse process is completed, the system will allow you to make a quality decision during the inspection phase.

If continue to encounter the same issue after this, it's recommend submitting a case and ensuring that SAP is authorized to perform a backend correction.
