A tile created in Tile Builder/Report Center is showing the error message "Error encountered in getting the data... Error encountered in executing the query. SAP DBTech JDBC: invalid column name"

A custom field mapped to a Custom MDF object is being used in the Chart data or filter

Since Custom MDF objects are not supported in Adhoc and Dashboards, the tile can throw this error message if a custom field from a standard portlet (e.g. Job Information) is mapped to a custom MDF and it is being used in the tile configuration. The solution is to remove this field from Chart Data, Filters and replace it by a regular field.
