Symptom
What has been changed on "Candidate Search Based on DPCS Acceptance" functionality with the new 2005 release?
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management - 2005
Resolution
The candidate search functionality can be configured to ensure that candidates are searchable if they’ve accepted at least one version of the Data Privacy Consent Statement (DPCS). Before 2005, this functionality was supported only for External Candidate. Now, with 2005, Internal Candidates will be also not searchable if they don't accept the Data Privacy Consent Statement.
Notice that to have this functionality working, the Data Privacy Agreement Setup in Provisioning must be enabled for both External and Internal Candidates. For example, if Internal Data Privacy Agreement Setup is disabled, then the Internal Candidates will be included in the search though they have not accepted the DPCS statement and vice-versa.
