-------------

This only happens when saving to specific folders.

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud 2020.9.3

Cause

This issue happens when a team has been deleted, but the sharing rights assigned to that team did not get removed from the objects / folders they were assigned to.

Resolution

If you attempt to remove the rights from the folder, you will get the error "Invalid Team" as the team no longer exists.

To resolve the issue, do the following:

  1. In the error message the problem team shows up as "TEAM:t.1.t.1:MyTeamName"
  2. t.1.t.1 is the namespace of the team, so create a new team with the name "MyTeamName"
  3. You should now be able to remove the problem permissions from the folder.  If the permissions are inherited, be sure to remove them from the base folder that they were inherited from.
