2922664 - Defaults of Valuation View XYZ Missing in Fine Tuning of Asset Class DEF

You are trying to extend the validity of the assignment interval for fixed asset AAA (AAA represents the Fixed Asset ID), or you are trying to post a Goods and Service Receipt and you are getting the following error message:

'Defaults of Valuation View XYZ Missing in Fine Tuning of Asset Class DEF'.

(XYZ represents the Valuation View)

(DEF represents the Asset Class number)

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to General Ledger work center. 
2. Go to Source Documents subview. 
3. Select Unposted Source Documents.  
4. Search for Document ID: 123 (123 represents the Document ID).
5. You will see the following error message: 

'Defaults of Valuation View XYZ Missing in Fine Tuning of Asset Class DEF'.

The issue happens because you didn't maintain the Valuation View XYZ in Asset Class DEF. You can check this configuration by following the steps below:

1. Go to Business Configuration work center. 
2. Go to Overview view. 
3. Search for activity: Fixed asset classes.
4. Select "Edit fixed asset classes" option.
5. Select the Asset Class: DEF.
6. In Default Valuation Settings you will see that there is no Valuation View XYZ. 

Expected system behavior.

You should maintain the Valuation View in the Asset class according to the steps mentioned above.
