2922912 - "Error during delivery update" Occurs During Accepting Deviation

When trying to accept deviation in monitoring view against a  warehouse task , system throws an error " Error during delivery update".

Business bydesign

1. Go to Inbound Logistics work center
2. Go to work Monitoring view
3. Find the relevant warehouse task ID and accept deviation against that task.
4. System throws the error message "Error during delivery update"

Serial Number profile of the products is being changed to mandatory after release of Inbound Delivery notification.

Before the release, as the serial number profile is not mandatory, user is  able to release the Inbound Delivery notification without providing Serial Numbers.

However after the release, while accepting deviation for the items in the task, it is changing the status of Delivery process to Finished as a reason system is checking the Serial number validation.

Either set the Serial number profile status in product master data as "Optional" for the products

OR

Provide the serial numbers in Inbound Delivery Notification.
