Symptom
- DC/ECDA Server will not start when trying to use SSL. There are 3 possible reasons:
- 1-DC/ECDA logs shows:
LogHeader 05/06/2020 11:54:16.877 DC151WINBG NULL NULL NULL SSL: No CA file file found.
LogNotice 05/06/2020 11:54:16.877 DC151WINBG NULL NULL NULL SSL: Error: No trusted certificates file. Can't continue. - 2-DC/ECDA log shows:
LogHeader 05/07/2020 10:34:34.974 xxxxxxxxx NULL NULL NULL SSL: SYBASE_CERTDIR environment variable not set; cannot check it for certificate.
LogHeader 05/07/2020 10:34:34.974 xxxxxxxxx NULL NULL NULL Warning: This server is configured to use SSL but has no certificate.
LogNotice 05/07/2020 10:34:34.974 xxxxxxxxxx NULL NULL NULL SSL: Error: no certificate. Can't continue. - 3-DC/ECDA log shows:
LogHeader 05/11/2020 10:12:58.496 DC151WINBG NULL NULL NULL SSL: Checking for <Servicename>.pwd in
LogHeader 05/11/2020 10:12:58.496 DC151WINBG NULL NULL NULL SSL: Operating system error opening
C:\sybase\DC-15_0\connectivity\..\servers\<ServerName>\certificates\<Servicename>.pwd
LogNotice 05/11/2020 10:12:58.496 DC151WINBG NULL NULL NULL SSL: Error: no certificate password. Can't continue.
