Symptom

SSCUI 102666 - Change Storage Type Settings displaying the below message while editing.

"Restricted display of datasets"

"Message no. SV766"

Restriction in changing the storage type

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Reproducing the Issue

  1.  Open "Manage your Solution" app.
  2.  Click on "Configure your solution" tile.
  3.  Search the SSCUI ID "102666" in the search panel.
  4.  Click on the "Edit" button in the configure screen.

Cause

Storage types with template "Default Storage Type" are not editable.

Resolution

  1. Create custom storage types using the SSCUI 102519 - Create Storage Types.
  2. Edit the custom storage types in the SSCUI 102666 - Change Storage Type Settings.
