2923802 - Mass Edit Functionality Not Working For Category Field in Tasks

Symptom

Mass edit functionality does not work in tasks for Category field.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Activities work center.
  2. Go to Tasks view.
  3. Select query All.
  4. Select the Edit option.
  5. Select required Task from the list.
  6. Try changing status for selected Tasks.

You will not be able to change status for the selected Tasks.

Resolution

This is expected system behavior .

Currently only Processor and Owner can be used for mass edit functionality in Tasks.
