2925220 - Different field types in country specific configuration for homeAddress element

Symptom

Is it possible to synchronize both country specific configuration and standard configuration when the field type is different?

Reproducing the Issue

There is a requirement to enable country specific configuration for HKG (homeAddress_HKG) and use standard homeAddress element for other countries. We have assigned a picklist to standard "city" and "state" fields for homeAddress_HKG. For other countries, we would like to keep it as free text fields.

Is it possible to synchronize both country specific configuration and standard configuration when the field type is different?

Resolution

Please note that this configuration is not supported by system as you wish to synchronize the "city" and "state" field in homeAddress_HKG only. However, to enable the hard-coded picklist synchronization for standard element "city" and "state", you need to assign picklist for the standard homeAddress configuration which will affect other countries setting.
