Symptom
- Customer wants a workflow to trigger when an employee requests a Time Account Payout through self service scenario
- Customer want to trigger a workflow irrespective of the scenario i.e Admin request, Self service or termination

Resolution
Step 1 - Create a Workflow for time Account Payout

- Navigate to "Manage Organization, Pay and Job Structures" -> Create New "Workflow" and assign the workflow participants as required
Step 2 - Create a Time Account Payout Profile.

- Assign the workflow created in the step 1 in the time Account Payout Profile
- You can assign only those pay components in the profile which are not recurring pay components
- These pay components should be of type AMOUNT and not percentage
Step 3 - Assign the Time Account Payout Profile to Time Account Type

- Naviagate to the time account type for which the payout is applicable
- Assign the Time Account Payout Profile created in the step 2 to the field "Payout Profile" in the Time Account Type
- The field Payout Profile will appear only when you select "Payout Eligible" to Eligible OR Eligible For Self Service
Step 4 - Create a Business rule to trigger the Workflow

- Go to Admin Center -> Tools -> Configure Business Rules
- Select -> Metadata Framework and choose Rules for MDF Based Objects.
- Choose Base Object as "Time Account Payout" and Purpose as "Workflow"
Step 5 - Assign the Business Rule to Object "Time Account Profile"

- Navigate to Admin Center -> Tool Search -> Configure Object Definition
- Open the object definition "Time Account Payout"
- Assign the rule created in step 4 as the onsave rule
After all the above steps are completed, whenever an employee requests for the Time Account Payout through Self Service, the workflow will be triggered.
