2926786 - File Could Not be Uploaded - Onboarding

Symptom

When uploading a Document Template for Onboarding one of the following error messages can be encountered:

  • ERROR 1: "ChangeSet index 1 - ???HCP Error Message: Https Status Code 401, Unauthorized???;File could not be uploaded to PFS"
  • ERROR 2: "ChangeSet index 1 - Illegal character in scheme name at index 0..."
  • ERROR 3: "ChangeSet index 1 - ???HCP upload error: XDP or PDF File Parse Error???;File could not be uploaded to PFS"

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Admin Center > Maintain Onboarding and Offboarding  Document Templates
  2. Click on Add New Document Template button
  3. Attach the XDP file and fill out the Document Template properties
  4. Click Upload.
  5. Error message appears;

Cause

  • Incorrect credentials configured in the Print Form Service settings in Provisioning. The User Id has a "space" at the start of the P-User Id credentials.
  • PFS URL missing the /odata/PDF

Resolution

  1. Go to Provisioning >> Company Settings.
  2. Search for Enable Print Forms Generation.
  3. Make sure the PFS URL has the "/odata/PDF"
  4. Enter the API credentials to be used in PFS. Make sure that there is no space at the start of the P-User Id credential.
  5. Save the changes.
