Symptom
- On recent SAP ASE releases, the SAP ASE errorlog reports an "infected with signal 11" error accompanied by a stacktrace.
- The stacktrace includes any the following set of functions:
open_range
s_opentables
s_mustrecompile
or
rvm_fetch_attr
s_mustrecompile
or
LeOpContext::Initialize
LeEmittOp::_LeOpAcquire
LeEmitSndOp::_LeOpAcquire
LePlanAcquire
Note: An example of a complete stack trace is available under Attachments.
- Also timeslice errors maybe reported along with a stacktrace which includes the following functions:
prot_validate
s_mustrecompile
