2928533 - Not Able To Create KUT Extension Field In Development Tenant

Symptom

When you click the at "Create Fields" button, nothing happens. The button is unresponsive.

Environment

Cloud For Customer

Reproducing the Issue

Lets take Sales Quote screen as an example.

  1. Navigate to Sales work center  and then Sales Quote view.
  2. Start Adaptation.
  3. Select the Pane pencil and drill to the 'Header' section in Adaptation panel.
  4. Click the 'Add' button and then select 'Field'.
  5. Click 'Create Fields'.

 Here no new dialog view is shown to enter the information for the new field.

Cause

It is currently not possible to create KUT Extension Fields in a Development Tenant.
You can just create it at Test and Production environments.

Resolution

To create extension fields in Development tenant you must use the SAP Cloud Application Studio SDK.
