2928566 - LMS: Due date of item changes after user merge


Performing user merge results in unexpected "Due date" change for certain items/curricula.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Assign curriculum/item to 2 users with a required date.
  2. Manually change the required dates.
  3. Merge the users.
  4. The required dates will revert back to the original date.


During the merge the system recalculates the due dates based on the assignment date and the curriculum requirement. Manual due date changes are not kept during this event.


After performing the user merge, please change the due dates again manually using the "Required Dates Editor".
