2928707 - [Onboarding] Data Review Error: "You cannot rehire employees on the same day as they leave"

New Hire is an external candidate initiated from RCM. There are no other applications for the candidate that may have converted him to an employee prior to completing this activity.
There is also no inactive users in the customer's system that has the same User/Person ID as the onboardee.

When completing the New Hire Data Review for one candidate, an error is presented for the customer: "You cannot rehire employees on the same day as they leave."

• Issue can be caused by either a configuration or data issue.
• In Recruit to Hire Data Mapping, the employmentInfo element maps the Recruit Date (start-date) and Termination Date (end-date) fields from RCM. Although the EC fields are mapped to different RCM fields, the offer approval created for this candidate has the start-date and end-field values to be the same.
• Thus, causing the error in the New Hire Data Review step.

• To resolve the issue, customer should either to remove the mapping for the termination date, or change the offer approval of the affected candidate, and assign a different date in the offer.
• Alternatively, you can create a ticket with the Support Team providing your approval to run a script which would remove the end date allowing you to hire the candidate from data review step.
