2928718 - Target Managers Cannot See Workflow Detail With RBP

When an employee is transferred from one Legal Entity to another with a Manager change, the target / future Manager is not able to see the workflow details before the workflow is fully approved.

• SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central 

1. Configure a workflow for an Employee's Transfer with "Respect Permission = Yes" and the target Manager as one of the approvers
2. Trigger the workflow 
3. When the target Manager tries to approve the workflow, they are not able to see any of the information 

If the permissions in your company are configured based on target population and the workflow is configured with "Respect Permission = Yes", the Users will only see the information they have RBP permissions to see in the workflow details.

This is expected system behavior. In this case, the employee being transferred is not yet in the approver's "target population" and will only be after the workflow is approved. 

There is no workaround for this behavior, but if this is a business requirement, you can open an enhancement request following the KBA 2090228.
