2928974 - Some internal candidates are not being returned in candidate search when searching certain criteria

When searching for internal candidates using certain criteria such as background elements, some candidates are not being returned, however, when searching other criteria, all candidates are returned OK.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. Go to recruiting - candidates
2. Search for internal candidates using some criteria such as first name and notice how all candidates are returned OK.
3. Search for internal candidates using some other criteria such as education and notice how not all candidates are returned, even through they have a value for education on their candidate profile.

Fields which are SM mapped may not be returned in the search in certain cases such as when a candidate has been imported.

Check if the field you are searching with where the candidate is not being returned is SM mapped. If it is, ask the customer to update any SM mapped field on the candidates profile.

The candidate should then be returned in the candidate search.
