2929221 - Candidate doesn't have the last name filled, although it is required - Recruiting Management

Candidates have applied without filling out the last name field and it is set as required.

The cause of this issue is that the candidate has input a dot in the last name and the lastname field is configured as "text". 

For example:

Currently this is an expected behavior and it is confirmed by Product Management that if the field is configured as "text" the dot will be accepted by the system in the candidate profile page and this will not be visible in the business card. It was also confirmed that this value will not be visible in adhoc report or integration center and considered as expected behavior of the system.
