Symptom

  • When a java program connects to ASE with jconnect 16 and inserts a java object in ASE, it generates a signal 11 in nthrd_backtrace function.
  • Stacktrace seen in the ASE logs
    nthrd_backtrace
    pci_tpminvoke_function
    pci_tpminvoker_chores
    pci_tpmworker_thrd
  • The same action with isql works without errors.
