2931036 - Not possible to add the same purchasing organization to two different company codes

While trying to assign the Purchasing Organization to the second company code via SSCUI 100066 - Organizational Structure, the following error message is encountered;

"Target ID is used already in another entity of the same type"

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open 'Manage Your Solution' application.
2. Go to 'Configure Your Solution'.
3. Configure SSCUI '100066 - Organizational Structure'.
4. Assign the same purchasing organization to the second company code.

This is the limitation from the reference content delivered in the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition system. The purchasing organization ID cannot be used for multiple company codes.

 Assign the purchasing organization to one company code only.
