2931036 - Not possible to add the same purchasing organization to two different company codes

Symptom

While trying to assign the Purchasing Organization to the second company code via SSCUI 100066, the following error message is encountered;

"Target ID is used already in another entity of the same type"

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the App 'Manage Your Solution'.
  2. Go to 'Configure Your Solution'.
  3. Configure SSCUI "100066".
  4. Assign the same purchasing organization to the second company code.

Cause

This is the limitation from the reference content delivered in the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition system. The purchasing organization ID cannot be used for multiple company codes.

Resolution

You can assign the purchasing organization to one company code.
