2931938 - Validation failed error for LDAP with error code 49

• The system is showing a validation failed error while clicking on the “Validate Configuration” after changing the username or password for LDAP.
   
• When a user whose LDAP directory password is in one of the older states tries to log in to an application that uses UME authentication e.g Netweaver Administrator, Enterprise Portal, User Management, a message 'User Authentication failed' is displayed. No password change form is presented to the user.
   
• The system is showing an error while trying to update the data source, like Validation failed. Configuration not saved. Technical details Validation of UME configuration failed. No connection to the ldap server. [LDAP: error code 49 - <xxxxx>: LdapErr: DSID-<xxxx>, comment AcceptSecurityContext error, data 52e]
   
• Also, error like below can be seen in defaultTtrace.X.trc:

• The error may also happen in std_server.out log in case the AS Java is down, and you try to start it.
