2932272 - Error Message "Mapping for Data Type APC_S_FORM_OF_ADDRESS_CODE and Code XYZ does not exist"

You are setting up the integration between SAP Business Bydesign and SF Employee Central. When replicating employees, system throws below error

Mapping for Data Type APC_S_FORM_OF_ADDRESS_CODE and Code XYZ does not exist

SF Employee Central

1. Trigger replication of Employees from EC to ByD

2. Error message in Master Data Replication work center -> Employees -> Failed/Not Started

Common cause for the issue is that the code which you are sending is not mapped in Code list mapping

Step 1: Update ByD Title Configuration:

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center and navigate to the Overview view.
2. Open the General Business Partners fine tuning activity.
3. Click on Maintain Titles.
4. Click Add Row.
5. Add XYZ a Z Value.

Step 2: Update Code List Mapping:

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center and navigate to the Overview view.
2. Open the activity for Code List Mapping.
3. Select the Local Data Type FormOfAddressCode.
4. In the Code List Mapping Rule Section click on the Add Row button.
5. For the Mapping Rule set Local and Remote Codes are Equal.
6. This populates all possible values in the Code List Mapping section.
7. Change the Mapping Rule to Map Individual Codes.
8. Enter an appropriate External Code for the new Title created in Step 1.
